Low Cost Spay/Neuter
The Medicine Hat SPCA’s newest program is our Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP). Pet overpopulation is a huge problem all over the world. Animals are being euthanized each day due too overcrowding in shelters all across the world. This program was put into place for those individuals wanting to help their animals but can not afford to spay or neuter them. If a person is on any kind of financial assistance they may apply for this program and may receive the discounted spay/neuter fees.
Should I apply for Low Cost Spay/Neuter Assistance?
If any one of the following applies toyour family, complete an Application for low cost spay/neuter assistance (Available at the Medicine Hat SPCA 55 Southwest Dr. SW) attach proper documentation (applicant’s name must be on documentation).
- We receive assistance froma Provincial or federal agency.
-Attach a photocopy of one of the following.-current letter from Social worker or a current client reporting card.
- We are low income but not on Social Assistance
-Present any of the following at time of application.-Income tax documents-employment insurance documents- workers compensation documents- pay stubs from your place of employment .
Application can be made at any time of the year.
